I have chocolate, flour and stuff. No eggs, but I could get some. I'd really like to make something delicious for after Sunday lunch tomorrow! Any ideas??

I was going to say Nigella's clementine cake but you need a lot of eggs

Thanks! I don't mind going to get eggs, it's the only 'standard' ingredient I'm out of at the moment.

Have you tried Nigella's cake? Is it nice? I've heard mixed reviews so I'm a little apprehensive!

It is one of my staple winter cakes, it is delicious and so moist. You need almonds as well.

Thanks twinset! I might give it a go. Any more ideas would be great too! I really do have a lot of clementines!!!

Jamie Oliver did a clementine jelly on his Christmas programme this year and it looked good (although it would involve you going out and buying leaf gelatine etc.)

Otherwise, another vote for Nigella's cake... it's delicious although I would recommend checking it regularly and laying a bit of foil over the top of the tin if it seems to be going a bit dark before its time is up.
