Hi, my daughter is nearly 5 and has some special needs. I've heard that olmega 3 is very good for brain development. I've bought some before, but it tasted disgusting. Like orange flavoured fish. I tried one in Holland and Barrat, that was nice, it was like a chewey sweet. That worked out really expensive though.
I wondered if anyone could recomend one that tastes o.k and isn't too pricey.
She isn't keen on fish, so it would have to be a supliment.

My dd takes

They have a bit of an after taste but better than the normal fruit/fish flavour the others seem to have.

There are Omega eggs, no idea whether equivalent to a supplement though... or whether they work.

Eye Q smooth sachets - overriding taste of pineapple. I can taste the fish oil but DC's don't seem to mind (and they are well fussy!)

If you hunt about you can normally find it on 3 for 2 in boots or similar.

we tried those, my DD thought they were the most disgusting, even I couldn't stomach them; I've finished up a lot of rejected omega 3 supplements over the years. I would advise NOT getting 3 packs of anything to start with till you know if they are acceptable! DD wont eat any sort of fish so DH keeps trying her with different ones. Fortunately now she's 11 she can just about bear TeenSense capsules
