Ginger syrup - where can I buy it?

Any idea where I can buy this and a clue as to what it is would be great.

If you buy stem ginger (baking aisle) it comes packed in syrup. You could also buy the stuff coffee shops use to make gingerbread lattes I suppose - not sure if larger supermarkets sell this.
