How do I make turkey stew?

I've got Jamie Oliver's bloody turkey gravy leftover (for those who remember my pre-Xmas thread about how to get rid of the star anise flavour - decided my family would hate it so I froze it), so how can I turn that into stew? It's thickened already so do I just heat it with the leftover turkey and add some potatoes and veg? I love turkey stew but my mum's always cooked it and I have no idea how

fry up any root veg like carrots ,leeks,onions,turnips,celery...gently in some butter til translucent but not browned.

add turkey...any ham . Add 4-6 tablespoons of pulses and lentils ( you can get a mixed packet , i think its called broth mixture)

Add 2 pints of water to cover everything. Add 2 knorr chicken stock cubes and a bouquet garni. simmer til pulses are soft. You can add potaoes if you want a more substantial soup. Thats my mums recipe and its really tasty.
