Can I freeze creme fraiche if it's cooked with something?

I've made FAR too much mashed potato, and I've stirred half a tub of creme fraiche into it - is it OK to freeze?

The tub says not to freeze, but hopefully it's OK when stirred into cooked food?

Thanks... don't want to be eating mash for breakfast lunch and dinner for the next 3 days

I don't know for sure but I would freeze it and not worry. I think I've frozen moussaka before when I've used creme fraiche in the topping. It was fine!
