Really nice stuffing recipe needed - any recommendations.

Fancy doing something from usually recipes I have. Can anyone recommend a tried and tested one for stuffing. thanks

I cheat and add my own things to a bought pack of stuffing mix!
Paxo sage and onion as a base and then add chopped chestnuts, bacon and onion.
I've done the same for others too but have also followed the recipe on the back of the can of Merchant Gourmet chestnut puree and that's really tasty.
Have also made this one from scratch and it was very tasty.

Nigella's gingerbread stuffing is yummy.

I made this Sausage, sage and onion stuffing this year and it was really lovely.

It has apple in it and I added some dried cranberries, so there was some sweetness. Everyone loved it.
