Raclette Grills - models to avoid/recommendations please?

Hi, would like to buy a raclette grill, one not so big that it wouldn't make sense to get it out for family of four but big enough for say 8 - 10???

Just as keen to hear about models to avoid as those to buy please. Thanks

seem to be lots of places, according to the internet, Doozle, but am sure some won't be very good so would like to know of people's experiences

We got one in John Lewis, which I think does six at a time. Hang on - will try and find.

Princess Raclette grill available in John Lewis. Anyone got this model or used it? Any comments please?

Ours is Tefal, it has 8 little pans, plus a griddle + plancha stone on the top. We like it!

pellegrino, saw a Tefal one in Selfridges - the display model was cracked which put me off but good to get a recommendation! What model is yours? WOuld prefer to buy a model I know people have used and liked rather than just buy some random model!! I like the look of the Princess one too so would appreciate any feedback. Amazon have a couple as well.

got mine in lidl - can't remember the name of it as it's not a big brand but does 8 people and it great

We were given one for Christmas from M&S (the present was from PIL not M&S themselves!!)

We've not used it yet though!

We got ours a few years ago - a present from French relatives - so our particular model isn't available any more, sorry. But we haven't had any problems with it.

We have the Tefal one with 8 pans - it's over 20 years old now! dd had a raclette meal for her birthday and her friends loved it.

The M&S one looks exactly the same as the JL one, but £10 cheaper!

No, I can't find it online.

It is on page 148 of the Home (Spring/ Summer 2010) magazine. It is £29.50 and the code is T681179.

The catalogue says you can order on 0845 6031603.
