scrummy wheat-free, dairy-free dessert please?

Need to make something impressive and fabulous (yet not too time consuming/ fiddly) for Xmas day.. Can anyone help?

I have cheesecake and chocolate tart on the brain, but very open to suggestions!

I'm on a dessert planning evening as well
my old fave (that this time I am trying to get away from!) is pavlova - I have dairy free dc and we use (in various contexts) soya cream, custard and soya yogurt as substitutes, and df ice cream. tons of fresh fruit in meringue and pour over the soya or cow versions as you see fit. Think we're going to go with the lovely mners suggestion of trifle (df cream and custard)
...or maybe brandy baskets with fresh raspberries. oooh, I'm hungry again

Nigella's clementine cake. Sorry am on phone so can't link, but is lovely, and according to my uncle (?! Who has turned out to be secret cake maker!) you don't need to boil the clenmentines first, which cuts out a lot of the faffing
