icing for nigellas clementine cake

Had this at a party last week - delicious - so have just made my own. However, the one I ate had a plain chocolate icing on the top - would just melted chocolate do? Or should I add something?

The green and black cookbook has nigellas clementine cake and suggests grating their orange flavored dark chocolate on top of the still warm cake straight from the oven so that it melts on top.

Thanks - cake had gone cold by time i read this, so I just melted the choc and spread it on. Went a bit cracked when we cut it, but still delicious!
