Have a bottle of wine which I am considering passing on but need to know if it is bad, ok or actually quite good?

Seleccion de Plata 2003 Tempranillo de Castilla (or something like that !)

I can't find it online but I may not be looking in the right places!

I don't want to give it to someone if it is really naaaaaaaasty! I will say that I am passing it on but still........

From what I can find and as it is not a Gran Reserva I suspect it is a good well made mid range Rioja worth about £6 - 7.

It will not eally improve with age but may still be OK. I would open to drink it yourself and maybe just buy a new bottle to give away.

Thanks Abetadad but all red wine tastes like vinegar to me anyway so that wouldn't help .
