If I make it up now, will it be ok to keep in a ball for a couple of hours? I want to make biscuits with ds and mindee but we won't be home until 4 and I thought if it was all ready for them to roll out and cut then there'll be enough time to cook it before dinner.

Anything you roll out benefits from being kept in the fridge for a bit. I always put gingerbread dough in fridge for a while before I roll it out,
