Get back to your stove and stir it!

And it won't burn.

Stir it! It will almost certainly catch if you don't keep it moving. Wrap a tea towel round your arms though, sugar burns are nasty.

up to 235 & still OK

Will I get to 238??

238 but no soft ball

I used to be so good at this

keep stirring, keep going till soft ball.

Remove from heat and beat well till it JUST starts to "turn"
