Kohlrabi - what to do with it?

squigglesmum · 27/06/2005 12:45

Just got some kohlrabi in my veg box, and can't find it any of my recipe books, not even the veggie ones! Does anyone have any suggestions, or should I just chop it up, steam it and see what it's like?

I just googled, it's nothing like swede!!! Wonder what I was thinking of?

Most of the recipes are for salady things as Leogaela says.

you can add it to meat soups and casseroles I think. I personally find it bland and boring, but maybe I just dont have the killer recipe!
