LOL
It's DD's birthday next week, we have a multi course meal planned and she wants an "I'm a celeb" course. Have bought sweetie bugs and want them in a shot glass in somthing cold but not sweet. Cold soup? gravy? what do you think? It's not supposed to be nice, but not poisonous either LOL - there will be a prize for drinking/eating it

Soup's a good idea. Perhaps something clear/thin so they can see the bugs? Minestrone?

won't poison them cold?
They have a soup course where they have to eat soup with rubber fake teeth in too LOL

lemon jelly spiked with chilli or black pepper

what about plain water with a tiny bit of food colouring or worcester/soy sauce

or tomato ketchup or brown sauce dissolved in water, I can't imagine that would taste nice!

or what about watered down lemon juice
