Making sausage rolls and freezing them

sheeplikessleep · 10/12/2009 11:19

Does anyone know if I can make sausage rolls and freeze them? Delia says you can (but hers is with home made pastry - I'm going to buy puff pastry).

If I do, I assume I'd have to freeze uncooked?

Does anyone have any lovely tasty (easy) recipes?

Thanks

You can cook them and freeze and reheat once.

or you can freeze them uncooked and cook through from frozen.

either way is fine.

and so is ready made puff.

i do delia's recipe with bought pastry

Either way is fine but Delia's home made pastry (especially if made with butter) is wonderful ...

i'm rubbish at pastry - it ends up being thrown in the bin, as it always splits as i'm rolling it.

i swore i'd never make it again. and i do love homemade pastry, but it isn't worth the blood pressure!
