Just bought an ice-cream maker

The machine makes lovely ice-cream, but there are very few recipes in the booklet that came with it. Can anyone recommend a good book of ice-cream recipes, or suggest some nice recipes?

All you have to do to make an ice cream is to make a custard base and then you can prettymuch add any flavour you like. You can simply add pureed fruit, like strawberry, or melted choc or espresso and walnuts. I made a delicious peach and papaya ice cream and served it with a bitter chocolate and spiced rum sauce, it was delish.

Thanks. By the way, Frenchgirl, the CD of French songs which you put me onto is DD's favourite CD of all. She makes us put it on in the car all the time and I'm sure she will be able to join in by the time we try them out on our French cousins later in the summer.

I have the same one as FrenchGirl and also highly recommend it.
