Chopped the chicken and bacon and diced the onions. Trying to decide now if I should make a tomato sauce or soemthing different - planning on having with pasta or rice.
Any suggestions?

have you any creme fraiche? All those bits mixed into hot pasta would be delish

Saltire · 07/12/2009 16:47

No I don't. I have single cream though

or some sort of risotto.

CybilLiberty · 07/12/2009 16:49

single cream would work..parmesan?

Saltire · 07/12/2009 16:51

Well I have parmesan in a tub, we don't use enough of it for me to buy it in blocks.

Fry them all up with some garlic. Then grate in some lemon zest and toss some chilli flakes in (if you like chilli flakes). Dash of white wine and some milk, let it boil for a minute or two to shake off the booze then stir in your single cream and serve with lots of pepper and parmesan cheese. Will be delicous.

White sauce, frozen peas, pastry on top
easy peasy pie

Carbonara type sauce would be lovely if you have eggs.

Fry up the chicken, bacon and onions and add rice and chicken stock. Simmer till rice is cooked. Delish.

In fact, I have some chicken and bacon in the fridge. I think I'll cook it myself.
