Link taking you to home page, sorry. Type Zyliss drum grater into their serch engine. It's half way down page

Macdog · 05/12/2009 18:17

Apologies for bad typing/English.

I got mine in Peter Jones (John Lewis). Its absolutely brilliant. The parmesan attachment is fantastic - really luxurious results.

great - thanks

this one looks pretty similar to the one they use on the show?

FabIsVeryHappy · 09/12/2009 13:42

John Lewis. I got one years ago. It is in the bin now.

PfftTheMagicDragon · 09/12/2009 13:48

I'd pay a lot not to grate parmesan by hand. Takes forever and I always grate my fingers.

That looks like a pile of poo though.

LadyOfTheFlowers · 09/12/2009 13:50

Isn't it a 'Muli' grater?

Not sure how you spell it, you say it moo-lee grater.

Mother used to have one and I LOVED usuing it - no grated skin or finger nails in your dinner!.

LadyOfTheFlowers · 09/12/2009 13:52

Ours was like this one but was made of beige plastic, not metal.

Not sure what sort she has on I Can Cook but am guessing it's this type of thing?

midnightexpress · 09/12/2009 13:56

We got a cheaparoo one a few years ago in a pound shop. The dcs now use it for various things - it is sometimes a backhoe loader and sometimes an animal of some sort.

i think it's spelled Mouli.

midnightexpress · 09/12/2009 13:57

A mouli grater is also a thing like this, but my mum used to call the thing that you're talking about a mouli grater too, back way back when.

midnightexpress · 09/12/2009 13:58

here you go. Bargainiferous.

LadyOfTheFlowers · 09/12/2009 14:03

midnightexpress THATS THE ONE!!

That's the exact one we had - I remember the box and everything.

Oh the happy childhood memories are flooding back!

The way it would make ropes of finely grated cheese....

Ah, love it.

FabIsVeryHappy · 09/12/2009 16:13

Are you going to make a bid Lady?

ConnorTraceptive · 09/12/2009 16:15

Pampered chef do one that's quite good, even grates mozzerella. Would look on ebay though as they tend to be expensive

ZephirineDrouhin · 09/12/2009 16:16

There will probably be a massive mn bidding war on it now. I'm quite tempted myself. We had one too.

LadyOfTheFlowers · 10/12/2009 11:34

LOL - It is certainly in my ebay watch box!
