i'll be baking it later on tonight, icing and decorating it with the kids tomoporw to take in on sunday. dd1 has a previous engagement and dh has insisted she goes.

aww bless. i guess its hard to disrupt the kids - and im sure peter wouldrather she was out enjoying herself than being carted off to hospital - even if it is his birthday.

Are you going to get to see him at all?!

i want to. i have a 4 hour slot when dd1 is at her birthday, but it will be a rush. will call my dad later and see what he says.

Lets hope you can see him, i know it will be rushed but half an hour is better than nothing surely?!

Any news on how he is doing today?

he seemed ok earlier. they have stopped the dopamine, but need to make sure he doesnt relaspe aagain. the blood flow to the kidneys and legs were the main problem as his heart isnt strong enough to pump well. if he goes downhill again then its back to the draweing board again.
