How to make a strawberry flan

Have bought a ready made flan base, a tub of fresh strawberries. Where do I go from here? I have some quick jel not sure what to do with it though.
Any tips to avoid disastor?

make a creme patissieres for the bottom - liek a custard

my mum used to brush the flan case with egg white to stop the juice running into the flancase.

Dh makes these sparkler and they are to die for.

He just slices the strawberries nt the flan pour over the ready mande quickgel and puts in the fridge for a bit

Cheap cheerful and delicious, my kids love them, my friend even got him to make them for her dh 40th party, we had then at the twins chridtening too.

He also makes mandarin ones and peach slices(tinned fruit with these ones)

Just went to make it all up and realise I don't have the quickjel that I thought I had.
