Ive bought Christmas chocolate moulds and coloured foil to wrap them in as presents, tree decorations and the like. But I am a complete novice, so do you have to use the expensive chocolate drops or will plain old Cadbury's do.

Im a bit worried as a review on the website I bought my things from said their chocolate went white. They where also selling thermomitors, which makes me wonder if the chocolate has to be a certain temp.

Does anybody have any experience using chocolate moulds who would care to advise please.

I have and the normal chocolate like cadburies went all white and funny so would suggest buying the decent stuff.

thanks, thats what id heard, Ive found some which says it doesnt need tempering so I think that will be the best bet.
