Party food

DS's music class is having a Christmas party and we've all been asked to bring a tray of party food.

The children are all between 18 months and 2.5y and I've been having trouble thinking of something appropriate to take.

No doubt there will be parents who have very strict ideas of what their children should and shouldn't eat. I'd like to take something which isn't boring, but which isn't too unhealthy for the majority.

Any ideas?

how about little cubes of cheese, not too unhealthy, suitable for most diets and a pretty safe bet.

Or you could make cheese straws or puffs cut into christmassy shapes as an alternative.

homemade biscuits - still atreat but much better than shop bought - could make christmassy shapes too...

Great ideas, thanks!

Think I'll have to get some christmassy cutters.
