sometimes. but the other day i went for weetabix rather than sainsbury's own brand because the sodium content was lower.

Yep we buy all own label (the sainsburys ones, but to be honest, most of the supermarkets get their own labels from the same cereal manufacturer as each other, so doubt there's much difference). We get own label equivalents of weetabix, cornflakes, cheerios and rice krispies. They're not as good as the originals, but edible and money's tight so we've switched to own brand for just about everything we can get away with at the moment - drastically cut the shopping bills down.

i ask because i personally dont have a problem, we feed Jess own brand weetabix and i eat own brand frosties, but dh insists on kellogs or whatever..... gets my goat!
