Mushroom soup - any recipe suggestions?

Have lots of mushrooms and would like to make a lovely mushroom soup. TIA

onions or shallots chopped fine, sweat in olive oil then add minced garlic and cook for a couple of minutes. Add the sliced mushrooms, cook for a couple of minutes then cover with stock and add a good glug of cream. Add a bunch of thyme and a bay leaf and simmer for 15-20 minutes.Remove herbs and liquidise. Add salt and pepper to taste.
