Help..I have a Tescoc chocolate fountain and have lost the instructions. What is the ratio of chocolate to veg oil? Do I melt the chocolate first..do I leave the house with all the chocolate and eat it in the car instead?

A nice PDF fle of instructions here if you are OK with the dread PDF files - not for a Tesco one specifically but they are all pretty much the same. All quantities/ratios for many types of choc are on that recipe leaflet.

Melt the chocolate with the oil in your microwave (slowly and gently so you don't let it overheat)then pour it into the warmed and ready fountain (into the base). Switch on the motor and it will start pumping.

One recipe said 'half an (American) cup of oil to 5lb choc' so actually not a huge amount of oil, but it flows better with oil in the mix so don't be tempted to leave it out.

Hope the party goes well!
