Houmous recipe?

Does anyone have a really good houmous recipe please? Every time I make it, always trying a new recipe it is disgusting and no one will eat it . Please help

Well I usually just mix it with vegetable stock rather than just plain water which gives it a bit of extra flavour.

I've also chopped up bits of red/green pepper/tomatoes before to go through it.

I was at a party a couple of years ago and the host had just put tiny chopped up pieces of mint through the cous cous and that is the nicest I have ever tasted!

I'd cheat and buy it! I've tried several recipes and they either come out too runny,sloppy or dry.....buying it means you are guaranteed nice stuff everyone will eat and you don't have to de-garlic your blender!

Can of chick peas, drained (reserve the liquid)
2 peeled garlic cloves
2 tablespoons pale (light) tahini
1 tablespoon olive oil
juice of 1/2 lemon.

Put all ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Add some liquid from the can of chick peas (or the other half of the lemon) if needed. Season with salt and black pepper.

I've done this many times and it's always tasted very good.
