was planning to make tonight as I start the proper one. But as I won't be drowning it in alcohol, should I just shove the mixture in the freezer? Will it go off otherwise?

oh and dyou reckon a splash of some pure vanilla stuff that me mom bought back off her hols and raves about will be nice in it?

tia

vanilla sounds vile.

soak it in brandy and feed it to the kids anyway.

yeah tempting - kids are 2 and 4

tis not just a splash of brandy I'm planning to chuck on proper pud either - got bottle of rum and ale as well as whiskey

might clash with dd's numerous meds

and wth AM I meant to do with pure vanilla in me fridge? This is the nearest I've come to making cake since I got it

I've never fed DC separate Christmas pud, mincemeat, or cake and I put brandy in all of them.

Don't bother with vanilla. I just put that in sponge cake.
