dp is a fussy sod and eats too much meat, says veggie food is not a proper dinner and doesn't like fish!
i have managed to convert him to salmon and occasionally sole, but am fed up with both so want to force get him to try tuna. does fresh tuna taste like the stuff you get out of a tin?
if it does stop there i dont need to know anymore, if not does anyone have any nice tuna recipes?

no, tuna steak i think has a completly different taste and texture to tinned tuna, i prefer tinned, if tuna steak is over cooked it is awful, very dry, and makes my teeth itch. Tuna has a very fishy flavour, i would try to cod, very nice but not overly fishy, mmmmm or smoked haddock with is so yummy, but prob way to fishy

trick him with quorn.

real tuna tastes of pork and poo, both, in my opinion.

I can't cook fresh tuna so that it tastes nice. I did have it in a Michlin Stared resturant once though and it was lovely.

My DH cant' tell the difference between quorn mince and beef mince when I make cottage pie.

thank you all - tuna tastes like pork and poo??? i think i'll give it a miss. i hate quorn, so thats out, i think he can just cook his own dinner from now on, or stop moaning!
