I wondered too, I have seen it in the health food shop and it is supposed to be good for you. If I knew what to make with it I would buy some to try, so I will watch this thread with interest.

Cook it in 2ce it's volume of water a la rice. Put it in a pan, add boiling water, cover tightly, reduce heat to low and simmer until liquid is absorbed. You can use it instead of rice/pasta/coucous.

Or you can take your cooked quinoa, mix it with a couple of eggs, garlic, hebs, chopped onion, form into patties and cook as burgers.

or take your cooked quinoa and add some softened onions, garlic, peppers, a couple of diced tomatoes, mixed herbs, other veg (grated carrots, courgettes, chopped spinach, fried mushrooms, whatever) Mix well to combine, beat in a couple of eggs and pour into a casserole dish. Bake at 180 for about 30 minutes. You can top with a little grated cheese if you like.

You can also use it in place of rice in rice pudding for a sweet thing.
