hot weather and eating?

dd (16mth) just doesnt want to eat much of anything, which i think is because of the heat,she has been having plenty of fluids and i can understand why being so humid and hot she doesnt really feel like anything, she has been having banana's but anyone got any other idea's please?

milkshakes with pureed fruit

yoghurt, fruit?

yogurt
fruit
corn on the cob
cucumber / slices tomato
pitta bread and hummous

(you know that you aren't supposed to have more than one banana a day don't you?)

Ds regularly has 2 a day.

its something to do with build-up of mucus in the system .. my acupuncturist told me about it .. and that was advice for adults btw

twig...she only has half at a time, tbh she hasnt even been bothered about them, i can understand why she isnt wanting to eat, as i dont either in this bloody heat!

Didn't know that about bananas...I thought it was because they can constipate you if you eat too many. I was in hospital and bedridden for 4 months (vivtors would bring you loads of bananas) and the nurses said don't eat too many as they would bind you up, so consequently don't feed DD more than 1 a day she is 10mths.

Anyway more to the point she won't eat anything at mo...although I'm lucky she still drinks loads of milk

Forgot to say milkshakes are a great idea
