Microwave meatloaf?

1 lb mince
4 oz Chopped bacon
1 grated onion
1 tablespoon of tomato puree
1 Tablespoon Worcester sauce
1 egg
4 tablespoons sage & onion stuffing mix or 6 tablespoons of bread crumbs

Mix all together, press into a container (I use a medium sized oval casserole dish)

Time 15 to 20 mins on high power
10 minutes standing

Jamie Oliver does a fab recipe in his ministry of food which is a bit like a big cornish pastry. Mince, peas, chopped carrots, celery then put in some pastry and rolled up. Yum.

Also love meatballs. Nigella uses semolina to bind and works so well.

Also beefburgers!

I have a cookbook called "Mince" which has nothing but mince recipes in it. I think that there are about 100 different ones using different types of mince. It's by Mitzie Wilson and costs about £8 on Amazon. Definitely worth investing in, if you have a spare £8.

Some of the recipes are Bobotie, keema curry, mince and tatties, meat and potato pie, kofta, pasta with chicken, pork stir fry, chinese pork parcels, cornish pasties, loads of different burger and meatball things.

small handful of mince and grated veg mix with woster and tomato sauce. wrap in pastry (puff or filo work well). bake until golden (think its about 40mins) and serve with gravey and veg.

yum yum yum and very filling. i make extra and have the leftovers for lunch the next day.
