Fish - Tasty easy recipes needed

My dd loves fish , but I am a bit limited on my fish dishes (understatement). I will grill salmon in herb butter etc. but need to expand the types of fish we eat. My dh got some plain frozen cod (with bones) from asda and it seemed tasteless whatever I did with it . Dd also ended up being paranoid about fish bones.
Also as I am 35 wks preg am optimistically planning to cook a lot of meals to freeze. Unfortunately energy levels are low so any tasty foolproof freezable recipes welcome.
Thanks

fry some boneless cod in olive oil garlic, onions and white wine, put tomato sauce over it and you can eat it with rice, pasta or mashed potatoes

DS aged 23 months loves all smoked fish - especially trout and mackerel (he'd have salmon if I'd buy it!). You can have a pack on hand in the fridge as it keeps for ages and it can be eaten hot or cold. Really handy for quick meals with jacket potato / rice / whatever. Because it's smoked it's quite tasty. Sainsbury's have also started doing some lightly smoked salmon fillets that taste great just grilled.

He also loves smoked haddock. I give it to him poached in milk with a poached egg and spinach - really tasty and colourful. You can buy the undyed stuff from the fish counter.

Fish pie dead easy - poach a bit of fish - whatever you can get your hands on - in milk with a little onion or a bay leaf, then add butter and flour to thicken the milk to a sauce. You can add vegetables (for speed cook frozen peas / sweetcorn / spinach in the milk) and top with mashed potato / put on top of jacket potato etc.

Hope this helps!

Forgot to say - all freezable assuming fish hasn't already been frozen.

Another idea. Cod baked in the oven topped with tomato / olive pasta sauce - I use a sacla jar. So quick and easy you don't need to freeze it.

Rainbow trout - wrap it in newspaper and bake in the oven for 45 mins at about 180. When you unwrap it all the skin etc sticks to the paper and the fish is really moist and tasty. The fish just comes away from the bones. DS loves this too.

colette there is another thread similar to this asking for fish recipes... perhaps you could do a search. If you can't find it I can put in a quick recipe for fish burgers using cod.

This is a real winner with my DS and is from Annabel Karmel, really easy and quick which is the name of the game in our house.

Put some boneless cod (or plaice) in a dish, squeeze an orange over it, sprinkle with lots of grated cheese and dot with butter. Cover and bake for 20 mins. My DS likes this with mash or rice.

Make a tomato sauce add some little meat balls and serve it with couscous and a salad on the side.
Chicken breast/ fish with lemon sauce (juice, little butter, soy sauce and a little honey)
