urgent - madeira cake for 24cm round tin

Help! I'm about to make ds2's birthday cake - I have a 24cm round cake tin but the recipe I have is for a 25cm square tin = is that going to be Ok?

It should be, have you got extra ingredients just in case? Are you making 2 layers and sticking them together? If my brain is in straight then you should end up with a bit of extra mixture.
