I'm making veggie lasagne - always make loads and then make up a couple as it freezes well. Will serve with homemade wedges and garlic bread.

brightwell · 30/10/2009 16:27

We're having jacket potato's, cheese & beans. I can't be bothered to cook & we're going out at 7pm so it's an easy meal.

was supposed to be Stilton, Lentil and Mushroom loaf.

But I only just got back from town, and am annoyed that the 4 energy saving bulbs I bought for the kitchen spotlights (at a cost of £24!) don't fit (my fault I should have checked not just the "fiting" but the width of the actual bulb) I may just order Perfect Pizza....

DW and me never eat dinner.

DSs will have pasta, ham, cheese as they have been playing football all day.

hercules1 · 30/10/2009 16:31

Jamie Oliver's chicken korma curry with fruit scones and clotted cream for after.

Bucharest · 30/10/2009 16:33

ABatDead- what, never?????

dd is having left over lasagne, me and dp are having pumpkin risotto (not, I hasten to add because I've been carving holes into pumpkins, but because I fancy cheesey comfort food mush and the only thing in the freezer to add to risotto is a roasted pumpkin that's been there ages..)

Can I have the recipe for stilton lentil and mushroom loaf please? Sounds delicious!

Trying a lamb casserole with dumplings recipe from Delicious magazine. Not 100% sure about it - seems a little bland.

Crispy duck and pancakes. It's a recipe from Nigella express and very easy. The duck has been in the oven since 2.30 and will be ready about 7ish. DH and the DSs love it but I'm not so keen. I'll prob do some veg fried rice with it. What wine would go?

ClaireDeLoon · 30/10/2009 16:52

Chicken and bacon pie - I made it with leftover roast chicken (and the stock for the sauce) the other day and froze it. With chips and sweetcorn.

GossipMonger · 30/10/2009 16:52

We had sausage and mash for lunch so the boys are just having jam sandwiches (their choice) for dinner and I will eat with DH later.

Rose wine is chilling and we are about to put Night at the Museum 2 on DVD!

JANEITEPatrickNormanMcHennesy · 30/10/2009 16:54

Mushroom stroganoff and rice. The girls are both out so dp are taking advantage of a rare opportunity to eat mushrooms! Have just discovered that the only alcohol we have in the house is a tiny bottle of gin though (present: can't stand the stuff). Could I use this, or should I leave out alcohol altogether do you think?

Poohbearsmom · 30/10/2009 16:57

Bucharest - we always eat a hot lunch of normal size and usually a glass of wine. Nothing much if anything at all for 18 hours after that. Neither me or DW can sleep if we eat a meal after 2.00 p.m..

For me I just had a handful of grapes and I feel stuffed again. Might have a cup of tea and two biscuits later. DW hardly ever eats anything after lunch.

We eat dinner about twice a year.
I weight 11 1/2 stone. Its a great way to keep weight off.
