need pork steak recipe ideas.....

Have got 2 pork steaks in freezer that need using up.

I have got a slow cooker so ideally something that can be done it that.

Am not the worlds best cook so nothing to complicated please!!!

It's not a slow cooker recipe, but it is very easy!

Grill them. Grill them til almost done on both side, then cover one side with apple sauce and a slice of cheese and put back under the grill to melt. Serve with new potatoes and salad or green veg.

DD's favourite way of eating pork steaks and very simple!

Again, not slow cooker but tasty...

Get pork steak between 2 pieces of cling film and bash until quite thin.

Beat an egg and coat meat in the egg and then cover in a mixture of breadcrumbs, parmesan and parsley.

Then fry for a few minutes each side and eat with lots of veg and mash

Hav got the steaks out of freezer for tomorrow night.

I know Dcs will prefer the one with cheese in but I like the sound of the one with bread crumbs...

May try both

Mash a clove of garlic into one siide of each steak.

Pan fry in butter for 5 minutes a side.

Remove from pan and then add a couple of tbsp course grain mustard and double cream. Cook for a couple of minutes to reduce the sauce then add back in the steaks and warm through.

Serve with mashed potatoes.

You can adjust the amounts of mustard and cream to suit your taste.
