DD has made some buns this morning, they have coloured icing and wnat to make little flat pumpkins/ghosts etc to go on top. Obv its floppy roll out icing at hte mo, how can we make it go hard and stiff?

Also - WHY does it go slimy when its been on the cake for more than 3 seconds?

1st question - Leave it uncovered to dry for 1 or 2 days

2nd question - it shouldn't, unless you get it wet.
