How did you do it? I just wash mine, then stick them in the oven at 100 degrees or so for about half an hour.

Same here, we made jars of chutney yesterday. Nigella admits to being a sterilising slattern.

I do homemade hampers every year for people with chutney, mincemeat and other goodies.

Morrisons have some kilner style jars very cheap.

similar bettymum - I washed them and shoved them in at 180 for 10 mins.
at hampers. Anyone who knows us is greatly honoured to get a single jar or something! (being my first year and all, it all seems a bit precious. I work on storing half and giving away half)
