I have been thinking (doesn't happen often!)- Nigella did a nice one in her Express book - shall have a search

Here is her Maple Ribs and Chicken - no need to put the ribs in.

Or Buttermilk Drumsticks

Might have to try one of these this week now!

The buttermilk chicken is lovely. Was just coming on to recommend it! The coleslaw that goes with it is really good too.

sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce and rosemary. sounds a bit random but its very popular in our house and when ive made it for parties etc.

Jack Daniels and BBQ sauce. Not for the children though!

greek yoghurt, lemon juice, lots of garlic, olive oil (just a little) and paprika and salt and pepper. It is amazing as the yoghurt tenderises and moisturises the meat.

Remember if you want to add anythign sweet to your chicken this needs to be in the form of a glaze you add in the last ten mimnutes of cooking, not something the chicken is coated in from the start as the sugar burns, leaving you with blackened offerings that no one likes.

I make a lovely philipino inspired glaze involving cola and soy sauce and garlic and five spice powder. All sticky and divine.

How do you make that glaze OMDB?

So many choices - buttermilk looks delish!
