Cooking Chicken from Frozen?

The other week on the "What did your child have for tea?" thread Enid posted her chicken nugget recipie (absolutely gorgeous BTW, yum). The query I have is now that we have eaten some and frozen the rest, should I really cook them straight from frozen? They are made with raw chicken and I thought you should defrost this first. Here are the cooking instructions posted with the recipie:-

"Place on greased baking sheet and cook for about 20 minutes (45 if frozen)."

I took this to mean if they were frozen just put them in the oven for 45 mins, no defrosting, but need some confirmation as this seems to go against all that I understand about chicken.

Thanks to anyone who can help!

Shop-bought chicken nuggets aren't precooked and they are cooked from frozen, so I can't see a problem with it. Chicken can be cooked from frozen once it is completely cooked throughout, 45 minutes sound plenty to me, but to be sure, break on in half and make sure the center is piping hot and white. HTH.
