... what did your dd/ds eat yesterday?

All I seem to hear at the moment is "mummy eat! hungry" and am running out of ideas.

Looking for inspiration, particularly nutritious snack ideas.

Here's a link to a BLW thread on veggie nuggets. Looks like the original recipe is on Aitch's blog (there is a link)

dd2, 2.4:

2 pieces of toast and ?honey for breakfast (dp did it so not sure on topping) - doesn't eat crusts

babybel, small banana, apple juice, 2 large gherkins , half a carrot for snack

egg mayo sandwich for lunch, crusts dunked in mayo, plus an extra half cheese sandwich cos she was insisting she was still hungry and she had eaten her crusts, hot chocolate

jam on toast for snack (no crusts)

small plate pasta with tomato sauce, chicken, bacon and olives for tea

she has been noticeably hungrier than normal recently, usually would be less bread - cereal for breakfast, fruit for pm snack (today no milk, no fruit ).

yes, what is it about crusts? Personally I love 'em so that works out well.

Wonderful that there are children out there eating large gerkins and cottage cheese

yesterday my dd had:

wake up: cup of cold milk (semi)
breakfast: cornflakes & milk, blueberries

snack: toast & butter & raspberry jam
trolley snacks: pkt organix carrot sticks, purple grapes

lunch: chicken sandwich, raspberry jelly ... another chicken sandwich

snack: ella fruit squeeze, treat size pack of white choc buttons

dinner: spag bol, mango yoghurt

bedtime: cup of warm milk (skimmed)

phew!

crusts and veggies are fine with dd1 - it is just meat, pasta, mushy food and potatoes that get sniffed at!

At least I get to have fishfingers for my lunch every day though!
