you give your darling 20m old lunch & they throw the cutlery on the floor and have a mega tantrum? I tried about 3 times - different cutlery, bowls, bibs etc & in the end took him away and put him to bed.
Would you have tried a different meal? it was nothing new - pasta, broccoli, chicken and pesto which I know he likes individually.
do I give him food when he wkaes up to keep him going to teatime? try him woth teh lunch again?
i realise this sounds a really basic question but it's not a problem we've had before! thanks

Poor you. Its not fun is it?
I'd have done exactly what you did and abandoned the meal.
If your DS was hungry he would have eaten.
Try him again when he wakes up with a small amount of something to keep him going to tea time though or he won't make it without some serious grumps unless of course he is ill?

not ill - just making his feelings known I think - thanks for the support

No! Don't give him anything til teatime. If he was that hungry he would have eaten his dinner!
