Fresh Borlotti Beans

I have grown some, and eaten some using a baked recipe, which needed two tomatoes, garlic, sage and olive oil.

How have you done yours?

Put shelled beans in pan with lots garlic peeled and chopped in half, 2 whole tomatoes, several sprigs sage, bay leaf, fill up to bean level with water, add couple tablespoons best olive oil to float on top and bake covered for 1 hr or so till beans are done, then season.

Very nice - cook with more water for soupy consistency, less for casserole-type to go with meat.
