I have yeast, strong plain flour and a yearning for something sweet & sticky

Going to make pizzas for tea, but could also whip up some fantastical baked goods, if only I knew how... Anyone got any good recipes for buns? [greedy]

Make bread dough like you would for pizza, roll out into a rectangle, liberally coat with melted butter, lots of sugar and raisins and cinnamon according to taste, roll up like a swiss roll, cut into three inch buns, lay them all in a tray that they all fit into nicely, touching each other, with the cut side up, leave to rise and then bake in the oven.

Once cooked pour over icing sugar mixed with a little hot water and lemon juice to make a runny consistancy. Leave to cool and scoff.

Will give it a go. Have just made & scoffed pizzas (didn't get round to it last night) and DS1 announced they were better than pizza express .
