Fudge recipe please!

I need to practise before I make it for Christmas presents! Also, how long does it last?

Oooh, please can I jump on this bandwagon and ask whether anyone has a recipe for the butter tablet, crumbly sort of fudge.

I am planning on using this recipe from Fig Jam and Lime Cordial, though I haven't tried it myself yet!
