what are you leaning towards and what do your guests like?

Are they full on meat eaters or poncy delicate vegetable eating types? And I mean poncy in a very lovely way of course. I like a bit of ponce with my dinner parties.

For pud I would do something you can make in advance. Last time we had that many people round I made a
semi freddo. It went down quite well and I made it a week before so no panicing on the day!

For starters with that many people, I always try to think of something that's no effort (smoked salmon, antipasti) or make in advance (soup, individual tarts).

Cooking for that many is a bit of an effort so you want it to be as stress free as possible.
