Have enroled ds (14 mo) into baby swimming - although class is 5 -5.30pm. Have got a 40 min drive home so am thinking will have to feed him before the drive home. Any ideas for something filling - he's eating like a horse these days.
Was going to take banana, babybel, sandwich - but don't know if that'll be enough. Don't really want to chance feeding him something else before swimming incase he poos!

Rice Pudding? Nice and satisfying....

as in ambrosia creamed rice - or home made?

I would think home made would be better for him, but personally I am lazy so it would be ambrosia. Or Porridge, most babies will happily eat it cold.

he has porridge for breakfast - so will maybe get some ambrosia for tonight and maybe attempt home made for next week.
Actually I could maybe make up a little picnic and have some cubes of cheese and quiche etc.

well last night he had - a full aberdeen angus beef burger from M&S about 1 inch thick, 6 cherry tomatoes and 7 little cubes of feta cheese, a nectarine and a piece of bread and jam. Then half an hour later he had his 9 oz of milk!
