Just wondering, as i'm currently doing a chicken and tomatey thingy in there, and would like to serve it with pasta.

I don't mean cooking it for hours and hours, but maybe half hour before taking out, bunging some pasta in - d'you reckon it'd be ok?

I think so. Oooh I've got a lovely beef in ale casserole sat in the slow cooker ready to ping on via the timer soon so we've got a warming comforting meal later (I'm working today so can't do me normal roast). I'm going to pop some lovely herby dumplings in for the last half hour

I've cooked it before and it was a bit on the floppy side like you've cooked it for too long - maybe i did...

It sounds lush though what you're making.

I love my slow cooker, through all in the morning then at tea time it's all cooked.

Hey Dee, I have done it with rice before and it was soo good. Just checked and my slow cooker recipe book says you can add small pasta shapes 30-45 minutes before the end of cooking.

Bumping for you.

I've just dug my slowcooker out for the first time this year and have a lentil chilli bubbling away in there: it smells fab!
