Just wondering at what age will/did you stop taking ready prepared food to resturants and ordered off the menu for your little ones?

We're going out for dinner and I'm tempted to order my 8mo something there rather than taking a pot. He eats really well at home, I cook all his meals, but I thought perhaps I could just order him some mash and veg, I do worry about salt, but as a 'once in a while' thought it'd be ok?

At that age, I'd have been happy for my DCs to eat bits and pieces of our plates. Would have perhaps taken a banana and yoghurt just in case.

Turns out we didn't go out tonight, but next time might see how he gets on with it!
