Frozen ready meal question - is this going to be ok?

Ok, have a ready meal curry in the freezer. Was bought in the chill cabinet but said you could freeze but use within one month. Got it out of the freezer today but the use by date (when fresh) was Aug 15. So it will be 10 days out of use by date if has to be used within one month frozen. But surely this will still be ok? It has been frozen afterall and it's only 10 days - surely?

I would risk it.

Forgot to say I think the freezing guidelines are for optimum taste.

so it should be ok but just not taste that great?

It will be safe to eat. But the taste, texture, colour etc may not be quite so perfect as the day you froze it. But actually, you probably won't notice any difference anyway...
