what baby food brand/jars do you find the best?

At the moment i like the Heinz small tins

I admit I haven't looked around too much yet. DS has only just started having any kind of meat, and this was ordered from tescos online. I'll look in Asda once I've finished with this lot provided DS seems keen!

gosh juicychops - wonder if you thought you'd open such a jar of worms...?
we use jars sometimes...esp if going out. fruit ones are handy and good mixed with other things. hipp organic larger jars are his favourite. he eats home cooked food too ...and enjoys it. if he has a jar i also give him a range of finger foods on the side, so that he always has some variety and fresh food. he went through a very fussy eating stage but now eats pretty much everything. giving him a combo of jars and 'real' food helped with this...

Have to say that dd was a fussy bugger and wouldnt eat anything from a jar (dinners that is not the fruit ones). We only tried a few times mind but she ended up eating mince 'n' totties 'n' carrots (mashed down) with us at 7mnths when we were camping as she refused the jar of Hipp Organic Id bought ~sigh~ waste of money that was.
